Tunisian Ligue 1 confirms transfer window dates for 2026-2027 season
The Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) has confirmed the official dates for both the summer and winter transfer windows ahead of the 2026-2027 Ligue 1 season.
The announcement sets out the periods during which clubs in Tunisia’s top division will be allowed to register new players, as teams prepare for squad adjustments ahead of the new campaign.
Summer transfer window confirmed
The summer transfer window for the 2026-2027 Tunisian Ligue 1 season will open on 1 July 2026 and close on 20 September 2026.
This extended period will give clubs more than two months to strengthen their squads ahead of the new season, as they look to bring in reinforcements and complete player departures.
Teams are expected to use this window to reshape their squads, address weaknesses and prepare for domestic and continental competitions.
Winter window set for January
The winter transfer window has also been confirmed, with clubs able to register new players between 2 January 2027 and 31 January 2027.
This mid-season window will allow clubs to make adjustments based on their performances during the first half of the campaign.
It provides an opportunity for teams to reinforce their squads, recover from injuries, or make tactical changes as they push towards their season objectives.
Planning ahead for the new season
With both transfer windows now officially set, Tunisian clubs can begin long-term planning for the 2026-2027 season.
The announcement from the FTF gives teams clarity on recruitment timelines and ensures alignment with international transfer regulations.
Clubs across Ligue 1 are expected to be active in both windows, as they aim to remain competitive in a league that continues to grow in quality and intensity.
The confirmation of dates marks an important step in the build-up to the new season, allowing sporting directors and coaches to prepare their transfer strategies in advance.
