Libyan club Al Ahly Tripoli targets Morocco and Al Ahly winger Reda Slim
Moroccan winger Reda Slim has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Libyan club Al Ahly Tripoli in the current summer transfer window.
As per reports, the Libyan outfit has expressed firm interest to secure the services of the Moroccan attacker as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the new campaign.
Meanwhile, the Egyptian giants are said to be open to discussing the possibility of the player’s departure, but only under suitable financial conditions that reflect both his market value and technical quality.
The Cairo giants are reportedly unwilling to sanction a move unless they receive an offer considered appropriate for a player still viewed as one of the talented attacking options within the squad. Besides, several Gulf clubs continue to monitor the winger’s situation, increasing competition for his signature.
Reda Slim remains highly regarded due to the quality he displayed during his spell with AS FAR before joining Al Ahly. His impressive performances with the Moroccan side established him as one of the most exciting attacking talents in North African football.
However, the winger’s experience with Al Ahly has not unfolded as expected. Injuries and inconsistent playing opportunities limited his impact with the Egyptian giants, preventing him from enjoying a stable run in the starting lineup.
After struggling for regular minutes, the Moroccan international returned to AS FAR on loan before rejoining Al Ahly at the end of last season. Since then, uncertainty has continued to surround his future, with the club still evaluating whether he will remain part of the squad for the upcoming campaign.
