Étoile Sportive du Sahel announced the appointment of coach Ahmed Al-Ajilani to lead the team for the remainder of the season.
Al-Ajilani commenced his duties today with his first training session with the team, in addition to maintaining Mohamed Ali Nafkha and Saif Ghazal as assistants in the coaching staff.
Al-Ajilani replaces coach Imad Ben Younes, who faced heavy criticism after the loss of the Tunisian Super Cup.
The decision aims to revitalize the team’s performance and regain its competitive edge.
Having previously coached at Étoile du Sahel, Al-Ajilani brings a wealth of experience to his new role.
He has also gained coaching experience with various Arab clubs, including Al Hilal, Al Qadisiyah, and Al Shula of Saudi Arabia, as well as Union de Tanger and Olympique Khouribga in Morocco.
He has also contributed to the Qatari football landscape through Khritiyat.
