Ismaïlia Sporting Club’s first football team, led by coach Ihab Galal, several notable players have been let go during the ongoing winter transfer window.
Coach Ihab Galal, at the helm of the Ismaïlia team, has recommended the departure of several players as the club seeks to optimize its squad following the lifting of the registration suspension.
Among the departed players are Bassem Morsi, Saleh Gomaa, Tunisian Hamdi Naggaz, Mostafa Fares, Abu Bakr Hamza Al Jamal, and Ahmed Mohsen.
Furthermore, Togolese player Yao Anour has officially moved to Banque Ahly, while Iyad Al-Askalani has joined the ranks of FC Rostov in Russia, and Mahmoud El-Shabrawy has become a part of the Arab Contractors team.
Ismaïlia has, so far, reinforced its squad with the acquisitions of Ahmed El-Sheikh, Hesham Mohamed, Hatem Sakr, Eric Traoré, and Abdelkarim Mostafa.
The restructuring of the team aims to enhance Ismaïlia Sporting Club’s competitiveness and strategic positioning in domestic and potentially international competitions, as they prepare for the challenges that lie ahead in the football season.
