Tunisian midfield maestro Saîf-Eddine Khaoui, currently plying his trade in the Emirates, finds himself at the crossroads as his tenure with Khor Fakkan comes to an end due to a lackluster first half of the season.
Khaoui, who no longer features prominently in the plans of Montenegrin coach Nebojsa Jovovic, is now on the lookout for a new footballing home.
After an underwhelming initial stint with Khor Fakkan FC, where he made just 8 appearances out of a possible 14, the 28-year-old, formerly associated with Clermont Foot, is set to part ways with the Emirates club in the coming days.
Our sources indicate that Khaoui has garnered interest from Turkish sides Sivasspor, currently holding the 10th spot in the Super League, and Kocaelispor, positioned 3rd in the second division of Turkey. The winter transfer window deadline looms on February 9, 2024.
Should the proposed moves materialize, Khaoui would add Sivasspor or Kocaelispor to an impressive list of clubs he has been associated with, including Tours FC, Caen, Troyes, Marseille, Clermont Foot, and Khor Fakkan.
Notably, Khaoui’s market value is currently estimated at 2 million euros, making him an intriguing prospect in the evolving transfer landscape.
As the midfielder contemplates his footballing future, Türkiye emerges as a promising destination, presenting Saîf-Eddine Khaoui with the prospect of a fresh start and new challenges in the Turkish footballing arena.
