World Cup 2026: Morocco resume training after Brazil draw

Morocco have returned to training following their impressive 1-1 draw against Brazil in their opening match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with the Atlas Lions already turning their attention to a crucial Group C encounter against Scotland.

The North Africans produced a spirited display to earn a valuable point against one of the tournament favourites, boosting confidence within the squad as they continue their quest for a place in the knockout stages.

Morocco will take on Scotland on June 19 in Boston in what is shaping up to be one of the defining matches of Group C. A positive result would significantly enhance the Atlas Lions’ chances of progressing to the Round of 32.

Having earned a point against Brazil, Morocco head into the clash with growing belief and confidence. However, the team remains fully aware that there is still plenty of work to do if they are to secure qualification from a competitive group.
