Afimico Pululu is being linked with a move from Polish champions Jagiellonia Białystok to Azerbaijan’s Neftchi PFK as doubts grow over his long‑term future in the Ekstraklasa.

The 27-year-old centre-forward, who holds dual nationality with DR Congo and France, is the subject of transfer speculation after reports in Poland and Azerbaijan connected him with a potential switch to the Premyer Liqa. The probability of the move remains unclear, with the latest indication from transfer data sites listed only as “?”, underlining the tentative nature of the talks.

Pululu’s contract situation at Jagiellonia has fuelled the rumour. With no public information on a fixed expiry date, the forward could become a free agent if his deal is close to, or has already, run its course, opening the door to a low-cost or free transfer for Neftchi. His current market value is estimated at €4.00m, a figure that would normally place him in the higher bracket of forwards in both the Polish and Azerbaijani leagues.

Left-footed and primarily deployed through the middle, Pululu wears the number 10 shirt for Jagiellonia and has been part of their recent domestic campaign in the Ekstraklasa. In a recent league outing for Jagiellonia in the spring of 2026, he featured against top-flight opposition in a tightly contested match, contributing with his work rate and link-up play in a narrow scoreline that kept his side in the title conversation, even though he did not get on the scoresheet.

Born on 23 March 1999 in Luanda and standing at 1.75m, Pululu has built a reputation as a mobile, pressing forward capable of operating across the frontline. Having experienced top-flight football in Poland, a move to Neftchi would offer a different challenge in Azerbaijan’s Premyer Liqa and the prospect of continental qualification routes.

Should the transfer materialise, it would mark a pivotal stage in Pululu’s career, potentially reshaping his profile on the European stage and determining whether he is viewed as a key attacking figure in another emerging league.
