Eduardo Camavinga determined to fight for Real Madrid future
Eduardo Camavinga has no intention of leaving Real Madrid this summer and wants to prove himself again at the Bernabeu despite a difficult season.
The 23-year-old midfielder has played 39 matches in all competitions, scoring two goals and assisting one, with an average of 52 minutes per game, underlining his reduced but still meaningful role.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Camavinga has made his stance clear internally. “Camavinga maintains his position: he wants to stay at Real Madrid and fight for his place next season,” Romano reports, adding that the managerial situation will be key in shaping the club’s final decision.
The Frenchman has lost his starting spot in Alvaro Arbeloa’s side, with teenager Thiago Pitarch now preferred ahead of him in midfield. Even so, interest from several Premier League clubs and Paris Saint-Germain has not changed his mind, as he remains focused on succeeding in Madrid rather than seeking a move.
With his contract secure and his mindset resolute, Camavinga is ready to treat next season as a fresh start, aiming to win back his place and re-establish himself as a core piece of Real Madrid’s midfield.
