Lyon are being linked with a move for Nice right winger Kaïl Boudache, with the 19-year-old France-Algeria youth prospect reportedly attracting interest ahead of a possible summer reshuffle.

The Ligue 1 rivals are monitoring Boudache’s situation on the Riviera, with his contractual status at Nice currently unclear and external data listing no expiry date on his deal – a factor that has fuelled talk he could become available or even approach free-agent territory if no extension is agreed. The probability of a move remains officially rated as “?”, underlining the speculative nature of the reports at this stage.

Boudache, valued at €4.00m on Transfermarkt, is regarded as one of Nice’s more intriguing attacking prospects. Born on 15 June 2006 in Alès, he operates primarily as a right winger but is left-footed, offering the option to cut inside from the flank – a profile that would fit Lyon’s preference for inverted wide forwards. He wears the No 32 shirt for Nice and is listed with dual nationality, representing both France and Algeria in eligibility terms.

The teenager has been integrated around Nice’s first-team environment in recent months, featuring in Ligue 1 matchday squads as the club manage his progression from youth to senior football. Any recent appearances have been limited and closely managed, with no standout individual performance on record in a major fixture to date in the 2025-26 campaign, underlining that he is still at the developmental stage of his career.

With his market value still relatively modest by top-flight standards, Lyon would view Boudache as a long-term project rather than an instant starter. If a deal were to materialise, a move across Ligue 1 at this point in his development could be pivotal, offering the young winger a platform to turn raw potential into a more established reputation at the top level.
