Franculino Dju to leave FC Midtjylland in the summer

Guinea-Bissau international Franculino Dju is reportedly on course to leave FC Midtjylland in the upcoming summer transfer window, with growing interest from several top European clubs.

The Danish side’s sporting director, Jacob Larsen, previously confirmed in September that FC Bayern had considered strengthening their attack with Dju, who was among the players on their shortlist during the final stages of the 2025 summer transfer window.

Now, transfer insider Matteo Moretto reports that the 21-year-old forward is “100 per cent” expected to depart Midtjylland this summer, with interest in his services continuing to build across Europe.

Over the past months, both Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig have been linked with the talented striker, highlighting his rising profile after strong performances in Denmark. However, competition from the Premier League could play a decisive role in his future.

Clubs such as Liverpool and Everton were previously mentioned during the winter window, while Serie A giants AS Roma have also been credited with interest, adding further complexity to any potential deal for Bundesliga sides.

A move to Germany may ultimately depend on whether English clubs make a serious push, which could significantly raise the financial demands for his signature.

Dju remains under contract with FC Midtjylland until 2029, meaning any interested club will likely need to negotiate a substantial transfer fee to secure his services.
