Club Sportif Sfaxien have confirmed their starting line-up ahead of their Tunisian Cup round of 32 fixture against Jeunesse Sportive Kairouanaise, scheduled to take place later today.
The match will be played at the Hamda Laaouani Stadium in Kairouan, with kick-off set for 13:30 local time.
Both teams will be aiming to secure progression to the next stage of the competition in what is expected to be a competitive encounter.
Sfaxien’s selection reflects the squad chosen to begin the tie, as they look to assert themselves early in the contest.
The starting XI named for the match is as follows: Aymen Dahmene, Youssef Habchia, Hichem Baccar, Kevin Mundeko, Hamza Mathlouthi, Rayan Derbali, Firas Sakouhi, Mohamed Trabelsi, Travis Mutyaba, Emmanuel Ogbole and Omar Ben Ali.
The announcement of the line-up provides clarity on the team’s approach heading into the fixture.
With the knockout format of the Tunisian Cup, there is little margin for error, making the initial selection particularly significant.
Playing away from home, Sfaxien will need to adapt quickly to the conditions in Kairouan while maintaining organisation across the pitch.
The starting players will be expected to set the tempo and establish control as the match unfolds.
For Kairouanaise, the opportunity to compete against established opposition presents a chance to make progress in the competition.
The fixture brings together two sides with the same objective of advancing, adding to the anticipation surrounding the match.
As kick-off approaches, attention will focus on how the selected players perform in the opening stages, with a place in the next round at stake.
