Slavia Prague B sign Egypt right-back Ibrahim El Nagaawy from Ismaily for €306k
Egyptian right-back Ibrahim El Nagaawy has joined Slavia Prague B from Ismaily for €306k, completing a move to the Czech club on his 18th birthday.
El Nagaawy has agreed a contract with Slavia Prague B until 30 June 2030. He will join the club’s side competing in the ChNL after leaving Ismaily, where he established himself in Egyptian domestic football.
The defender made 27 appearances across four competitions before moving to the Czech Republic. He played 10 times in the Egyptian Premier League and featured in 10 relegation play-off matches, while also making six appearances in the Egyptian League Cup and one in the Egypt Cup.
El Nagaawy’s move marks his first transfer outside Egypt. Born in Ismailia, he came through the Ismaily youth system before joining the club’s senior side in July 2025. His move to Slavia Prague B follows one season with Ismaily’s first team.
The 1.79m defender operates primarily at right-back and favours his right foot. He joins Slavia Prague B with a listed market value of €200k, while the completed transfer fee is €306k.
His arrival adds an Egyptian player to Slavia Prague’s wider set-up and gives the club a right-sided defender with experience of competitive domestic football despite his age. The transfer was registered on 23 August 2026, with El Nagaawy leaving Ismaily after a year in the senior squad.
El Nagaawy’s career record before the switch included 27 appearances, with 664 minutes in the relegation play-offs, 679 minutes in the Premier League, 473 minutes in the Egyptian League Cup and 120 minutes in the Egypt Cup.
The 18-year-old will now continue his career with Slavia Prague B under a contract running until June 2030.
