Jeremy Doku believes Manchester City must quickly turn the page after their Champions League elimination and channel their frustration into winning the Carabao Cup final against Arsenal on Sunday.

The winger sees the Wembley clash as the ideal way to reset the mood and keep the season on track.

“It’s a good cure,” Doku said of the upcoming final, stressing how important lifting a trophy would be for the squad. “We’ll do everything to win that game and to win a trophy. There’s still a lot to play for. We’re in three competitions, three trophies to win. If we do that it’s still going to be a great season.”

He admitted the Champions League exit hurt, calling it “always a nice trophy to have”, but underlined that the team must learn from the setback rather than dwell on it.

“Of course we’re disappointed with the Champions League… But there are some lessons to take out of these two games,” Doku added, pointing to the need for growth and resilience in the final stretch of the campaign.
