Ousmane Dembele dismisses Manchester City transfer rumours
Ousmane Dembele has moved to cool talk of a possible transfer to Manchester City after his agent was spotted speaking with a club director in Spain.
The PSG star was quick to stress that he remains focused on life in Paris and is not directly involved in any behind-the-scenes negotiations.
“There’s no reason not to stay at PSG… but it’s not me who negotiates and makes the decisions,” Dembele explained in his post-match press conference, making it clear that contract matters are handled elsewhere. “I haven’t been involved in contract negotiations since the start of my career, discussions for my contracts are between the club and my agent,” he added, underlining his hands-off approach.
Dembele joined PSG nearly three seasons ago and has blossomed into one of their standout performers, playing a central role in their domestic and European success. During his time in Paris, he has lifted both the Champions League and the Ballon d’Or, cementing his status among the elite. For now, despite the noise around his future, Dembele’s words suggest he sees no urgent reason to leave a club where he is thriving on the biggest stage.
