Ousmane Dembele boost for PSG ahead of Monaco and Chelsea clashes

Paris Saint-Germain have been handed a timely lift with Ousmane Dembele back in the squad to face Monaco after recovering from a calf injury.

The winger’s return comes at a crucial moment as PSG build toward their upcoming Champions League showdown with Chelsea, where his creativity and pace could be decisive.

Head coach Luis Enrique could not hide his satisfaction at seeing Dembele rejoin the group alongside youngster Senny Mayulu.

“It’s always good news when you have players returning like Ousmane and Senny Mayulu. We’re happy. We hope to have them for the next match as usual. But we have to assess the exact physical condition of each player,” the Spanish manager explained, underlining the care being taken with Dembele’s fitness.

For Dembele, simply being back available is a positive step after his recent spell on the sidelines. PSG will now carefully manage his minutes against Monaco, aiming to have him fully sharp and confident when Chelsea arrive in the Champions League.
