CAF announces referees for Champions League and CAF Cup Quarter-Finals
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced a list of 29 referees selected for a training course in Cairo ahead of the quarter-finals of the Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup.
Representing around 20 different nationalities, these officials will oversee the crucial stages of CAF club competitions, including the quarter-finals and semi-finals of both tournaments.
Before taking charge of matches, they will participate in a preparatory programme in the Egyptian capital to review and standardize the rules of the game.
The quarter-finals for both competitions are scheduled to kick off on 13 March, featuring several high-profile encounters across the continent.
CAF’s training course aims to ensure consistency and fairness in officiating during these decisive fixtures.
