CAF praises Gianni Infantino for a decade of leadership at FIFA

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has extended its congratulations to Gianni Infantino as he marks ten years at the helm of FIFA.

In an official statement from the continent’s governing body, it commended Infantino’s leadership and global impact on the game.

CAF President Patrice Motsepe lauded Infantino’s tenure, highlighting what he described as a transformative decade for international football.

“CAF congratulates Gianni Infantino on the excellent leadership that he has provided as FIFA President over the past 10 years and for his enormous contribution to the development and growth of football throughout the world,” Dr. Patrice Motsepe said.

The CAF President continued, “African Football and world football have a loyal and trustworthy friend and partner in Gianni Infantino. CAF wishes him good health and everything of the best.”

CAF further emphasised that under Infantino’s guidance, football has experienced significant development initiatives worldwide, reinforcing ties between FIFA and its continental confederations, particularly in Africa.
