Hassania Agadir’s management has moved swiftly to quash speculation about the future of their Comorian coach, Amir Abdou, issuing a statement confirming their full support and commitment to him.
The clarification underscores that Abdou will continue in his role as head coach under a contract that extends for another season and a half.
The statement comes amid increasing rumours regarding the technical staff of the Souss-based club. The management emphasised that Abdou enjoys complete confidence and is implementing a pre-agreed sports project in full coordination with the club’s administration.
The club stressed that ensuring technical stability remains a top priority for the short- and medium-term success of the team.
The reassurance comes at a time when Hassania Agadir has shown positive signs of progress since the league resumed.
The team secured two victories against Ittihad Touarga and Ittihad Yaacoub El Mansour, alongside a draw against Club Meknès, reflecting a steady improvement in performance and results.
Currently eighth in the league standings with 14 points from four wins, two draws, and five losses, Hassania Agadir still has one game in hand against Renaissance Berkane.
A positive outcome in that match could further strengthen their position within the mid-table and provide momentum for the remainder of the season.
