Moroccan striker Abderrazak Hamdallah produced one of the most extraordinary individual displays of the season on Tuesday, netting six goals and providing an assist as Al-Shabab crushed Yemeni side Al-Tadamon 13–0 in the Gulf Club Champions League.
Already the Saudi Pro League’s record-holder for most hat-tricks with 11, Hamdallah’s double hat-trick performance only reinforces his reputation as one of the region’s deadliest forwards.
The emphatic victory secured Al-Shabab a place in the semi-finals and confirmed Hamdallah as the tournament’s leading scorer.
The match, hosted at Riyadh’s SHG Arena during the final group stage of Group B, saw Hamdallah make an immediate impact.
He opened the scoring involvement with a decisive assist in the 14th minute before launching into an unprecedented scoring spree, finding the net in the 34th, 43rd, 58th, 62nd, 65th, and 68th minutes.
His six-goal feat is a historic first in the Gulf Club Champions League.
Hamdallah now has seven goals in the tournament, edging ahead of prominent attackers such as Wesley, Carrasco, and Sherko Kareem.
Al-Shabab’s dominance was relentless, with the 13–0 scoreline ranking among the largest margins in the competition’s history.
The 35-year-old’s career tally has reached 150 goals, bringing him ever closer to the Saudi Pro League’s all-time scoring record.
His consistency across Asia and the Middle East continues to define his legacy.
Hamdallah’s influence also extends to the international stage. He was Morocco’s hero in the 2025 FIFA Arab Cup, guiding the team to their second title with three goals and an assist in four appearances, and earning the “Man of the Match” award for his performance in the final.
