Spanish outfit Real Zaragoza have reached a preliminary agreement with Moroccan international Jawad El Yamiq for his return to the team until the end of the current season.
The experienced defender is expected to undergo his mandatory medical examination before finalizing his switch to Zaragoza.
El Yamiq is an experienced defender, having previously played for Real Zaragoza during the second half of the 2019-2020 season, making 14 appearances and leaving a positive impression thanks to his physical strength and experience, which subsequently attracted the attention of several clubs.
The Moroccan defender boasts an impressive record, having played over 300 matches in his professional career.
He has also represented the Moroccan national team on 41 occasions, including participating in the final of the last Africa Cup of Nations.
Jawad El Yamiq progressed through the youth ranks of Olympique Khouribga before joining Raja Casablanca. He then embarked on professional careers in Europe with Genoa, Perugia, Real Zaragoza, and Real Valladolid, before moving to the Moroccan league.
