Bryan Adinany: French centre-forward linked with move to Belgian side KV Kortrijk

KV Kortrijk have completed the signing of centre-forward Bryan Adinany from fellow Belgian side Lierse SK on a permanent deal, with the transfer officially registered to begin on 2026-02-02. The move keeps the 25-year-old under contract at Kortrijk until 2026-06-30, ending his spell at Lierse and confirming his next step in the Challenger Pro League.

The deal sees Adinany leave Lierse SK for league rivals KV Kortrijk, with a confirmed transfer fee of €300k paid for a player whose current market value stands at €500k. The move also means Lierse lose a forward who had steadily increased his value over the past two seasons, while Kortrijk secure a physically imposing attacking option for the upcoming campaigns.

Born in Marseille and standing at 1.90m, Adinany joins Kortrijk as a right-footed centre-forward who represents both Madagascar and Comoros at national level. His arrival adds international flavour and additional height to Kortrijk’s front line in Belgium’s Challenger Pro League, where he will continue his career abroad rather than in either of his home nations.

Adinany’s path to this transfer has been gradual and cross-border. After developing in France with Stade Rennais FC U19, he moved to LB Châteauroux B before taking his first step outside France to Italian side ASDC Gozzano. He then returned to France with FC Saint-Louis Neuweg and US Raon-l’Étape, followed by a spell at Le Puy Foot 43 Auvergne. In 2024 he crossed into Belgian football with Lierse SK, and his progress there has now earned him a move up to Kortrijk.

His rising market value reflects that trajectory. While at Lierse, Adinany’s value climbed from €200k in late 2024 to €350k and then €400k during the 2024–25 season, before reaching €500k by the end of 2025. That upward curve underpins Kortrijk’s willingness to invest €300k in his services and indicates that the club view him as a player still on an upward path rather than at his peak.

For Lierse, the confirmed transfer also has a contractual implication: with Adinany now signed to KV Kortrijk until 2026-06-30, his departure removes the possibility of him becoming a free agent from their books when his previous deal would have expired. Instead, Kortrijk now hold his registration and any future decision on extending, selling, or allowing his contract to run down will rest with them.

Adinany arrives at Kortrijk as a clear, data-backed asset: a tall, mobile striker with experience in France, Italy, and Belgium, dual nationality with Madagascar and Comoros, and a recent record of consistent market-value growth. How effectively he converts that profile into goals and performances in the Challenger Pro League will now be watched closely by both Kortrijk supporters and observers in his countries of origin.
