Moroccan international Ismail Saibari continued his impressive performance in the Netherlands, scoring to inspire PSV Eindhoven to victory at the weekend.
The enterprising midfielder started and delivered an outstanding performance, as PSV cruised to a 3-0 victory over Feyenoord in the Dutch Eredivisie clash.
Saibari netted the third goal of match in the 17th-minute mark confirming their dominance and control of the game against one of their main rivals in the competition.
Unfortunately, the Moroccan midfielder succumbed to injury in the 65th-minute following a challenge from Feyenoord’s player, Oussama Targaline, who is of Moroccan root.
With this win, PSV Eindhoven increased their points tally to 56, maintaining their position at the top of the Eredivisie table, while Feyenoord’s points remained unchanged.
Ismail Saibari was part of the Morocco squad that reached the final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations tournament. He delivered an outstanding performance for the Atlas Lions despite falling shot to Senegal in the final.
He has been handed a three match ban and a fine of $100,000 for his role in the chaotic AFCON final in Morocco.
