Nigeria international Victor Osimhen has reached a significant milestone in his football career after scoring in Galatasaray’s emphatic win over Kayserispor.
The former Napoli star found the back of the net in Turkey at the weekend, as Galatasaray walloped their opponent 4-0 in the Turkish Super Lig.
The Super Eagles striker has etched his name deeper into football history, continuing his fine form for the Yellow and Reds. Osimhen’s landmark goal took his overall career tally to 200 goals.
Out of 336 games, scoring165 club goals and 35 international goals including 51 assists, underlining his status as one of Africa’s most lethal forwards.
The 27-year-old found the back of the net in the 26th minute, calmly converting from the penalty spot to double Galatasaray’s advantage.
His influence didn’t stop there, as he later turned provider, setting up Gabriel Sara for the third goal just after the hour mark in Okan Buruk’s side’s commanding performance.
Osimhen has been a key figure for Galatasaray this season, registering 14 goals in 20 appearances across all competitions.
