Auda have completed the signing of Gambian attacking midfielder Wally Fofana from Virsliga rivals BFC Daugavpils on a free transfer, with his contract at the Riga-based club running from 2026-02-01 to 2028-12-31. The 23-year-old arrives with a current market valuation of €175k and moves directly within the Latvian top flight after a rapid rise in value during his spell at Daugavpils.
The deal sees Auda secure a versatile, both‑footed creator who is listed primarily as an attacking midfielder but is capable of operating across the advanced midfield line. The move comes at the end of Fofana’s stint in Daugavpils, where he had become one of the club’s most valuable assets in the Virsliga before leaving at the expiry of his contract, allowing Auda to bring him in without a transfer fee.
Fofana’s switch continues a steady European journey that began in Belgium. After leaving Gambian club BK Milan FC, he joined Jong Westel, the reserve setup of Westerlo, in 2021.
