Egyptian giants Al Ahly have farmed out Slovenian international Necs Gradiscar to Hungarian outfit, Újpest FC in the current transfer window.

The 23-year-old attacker joined Újpest FC for six months with an option to buy at the end of his loan spell. Having completed all administrative procedures, the talented forward has sealed his switch to Hungary.

Gradiscar joined Al Ahly in January 2025, coming from the Hungarian club Fehervar, and participated in 40 matches, scoring 11 goals and making 5 assists with the Red Devils.

The decision to transfer the attacker is for him to gain regular game time in the ongoing football campaign.

The Egyptian powerhouse has transferred a couple of players in the current window including, Mohamed Magdy Afsha, Mohamed Abdullah, Ahmed Abdeen and Omar Kamal Abdel Wahed.

Al Ahly loaned Afsha to Al Ittihad Alexandria, Ahmed Abdeen and Mohamed Abdullah to Ceramica Cleopatra, in addition to Omar Kamal Abdel Wahed leaving for Ceramica as well.

The Red Devils are gearing up for the fourth round of the Champions League group stage clash against Tanzanian giants, Young Africans on Saturday, in the fourth round of the group stage of the African Champions League.
