Czech-born forward of Angolan descent Yannick Eduardo is edging closer to an exit from RB Leipzig as he seeks consistent playing time away from the Bundesliga side.
The 20-year-old striker could leave Leipzig without making a single competitive appearance for the club since joining in 2022, with interest growing from Serie A outfit Udinese. Reports indicate the Italian club is closely monitoring Eduardo’s situation and sees him as a long-term attacking option.
Eduardo is currently enjoying an impressive loan spell with FC Dordrecht in the Dutch second division, where he has emerged as one of the standout performers this season.
The young forward has scored 12 goals and provided five assists in 22 appearances, underlining his steady development in what is already his third loan stint in the Netherlands.
Despite being under contract with RB Leipzig until 2027, Eduardo’s lack of first-team opportunities has prompted discussions over a potential move. His strong club form, combined with his contributions at U21 international level, has continued to attract attention from clubs outside Germany.
Udinese are understood to be particularly keen, viewing Eduardo as a player with significant potential who could strengthen their attacking options in the coming seasons.
With regular football a priority at this stage of his career, a departure from Leipzig now appears increasingly likely as interest in the young striker intensifies.
