Egyptian club Pyramids FC are on the verge of securing the services of Jordanian international Awda Al-Fakhoury from Al-Hussein Club.
Speaking exclusively to Lila Kora, Burhan Al-Fakhoury, the player’s father, confirmed the deal is agreed in principle: “We have finalized our agreement with Pyramids FC, but the contracts have not been signed yet.”
The move comes after months of speculation linking the 20-year-old forward with Al-Ahly Club, before his focus shifted to Pyramids.
Al-Fakhoury caught attention with his performances for the Jordanian national team during the 2025 Arab Cup last December.
This season, he has featured in 13 matches for Al-Hussein, scoring six goals and registering one assist.
For the Jordanian national team, Al-Fakhoury has appeared in six matches, though he has yet to find the net or provide an assist.
