Bayern Munich are reported to be preparing a move for Hoffenheim striker Bazoumana Touré as the highly rated teenager continues to attract growing interest across Europe.
The 19-year-old Ivory Coast international has enjoyed a rapid rise at club and international level, prompting several elite sides to monitor his progress closely.
While Premier League clubs are tracking his development, Bayern are now said to be in pole position ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to journalist Ekrem Konur, speaking to Sports Boom, the German champions are considering submitting an offer to Hoffenheim in the coming months.
Touré’s performances in the Bundesliga have strengthened his profile, with Bayern viewing him as a long-term investment rather than an immediate solution.
Interest in the Bouaké-born forward is not limited to Germany. Manchester United, Arsenal, Brentford and Newcastle United have all been linked with the player, reflecting the scale of competition likely to surround any potential deal.
However, Bayern’s domestic status and financial strength could place them at an advantage.
Any transfer is expected to be complex. Hoffenheim are reportedly reluctant to part with one of their most promising assets and have set an asking price between €50m and €55m. That valuation represents a significant increase on the €10m fee paid to Hammarby IF just a year ago.
Touré remains under contract until June 2029 and is currently valued at €25m by Transfermarkt. His reported annual salary stands at around €1.23m, underlining the long-term commitment Hoffenheim made when securing his signature.
On the pitch, Touré has made a steady impact during the current Bundesliga campaign. He has registered two goals and five assists in 15 league appearances, contributing consistently despite his young age.
Those numbers, combined with his physical profile and versatility in attack, have fuelled belief that his ceiling is considerably higher.
While a summer departure appears increasingly likely, Hoffenheim’s strong negotiating position means Bayern — or any other interested club — would need to meet a substantial financial demand.
With several months remaining before the window opens, the race for Touré is shaping up to be one of the most closely watched stories involving a young African talent in Europe.
For now, the striker remains focused on his development in Germany, but with Bayern Munich circling, his future at Hoffenheim appears far from certain.
