Randal Kolo Muani experienced an unexpected scare on Tuesday when the Tottenham forward was involved in a minor traffic incident on the way to the airport ahead of Spurs’ decisive Champions League match against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Images on social media showed the 27-year-old Frenchman with teammate Wilson Odobert standing beside a damaged Ferrari, briefly alarming supporters.
Tottenham head coach Thomas Frank quickly moved to reassure fans in his pre-match press conference, explaining that it was only a tyre blowout and describing it as “a minor accident”, stressing that everyone involved was fine and that both players are expected to be available for the game.
The episode comes in a season where Kolo Muani is still working to fully establish himself in north London after arriving from Paris. On 1 September 2025, Randal Kolo Muani joined Tottenham Hotspur on a season-long loan from Paris Saint-Germain, and he made his first appearance for Spurs on 16 September 2025 as a substitute in a Champions League league-phase match against Villarreal.
The French international will now aim to put the off-field distraction behind him and make his impact on the pitch in a crucial European night for Spurs.
