Kevin Boma is edging closer to a move to Paris FC as the Ligue 1 club steps up efforts to reinforce its defence during the winter transfer window.
The 23-year-old Togo international centre-back has emerged as a priority target for Paris FC, who are looking to strengthen their back line as they battle to secure their place in the French top flight during the second half of the season.
According to Foot Mercato, the Parisian club, currently 14th in Ligue 1, has already made enquiries about Boma’s situation at Estoril, where he has been playing since 2024 in Portugal’s Primeira Liga.
While no formal offer has yet been submitted, the report suggests that the defender’s market value is estimated between six and seven million euros.
Further indications point to significant progress behind the scenes. Journalist Marc Mechenoua reports that discussions between Paris FC and Estoril are well advanced, with the two clubs said to be close to reaching an agreement around a fee of €7m for the Togolese international, who has earned 10 caps for his country.
Boma has been a regular figure for Estoril this season, making 23 appearances in all competitions and scoring once.
His consistent performances have helped raise his profile, attracting interest from abroad and placing him firmly on the radar of clubs seeking defensive stability.
For Paris FC, the potential arrival of Boma would represent a strategic move as they look to add solidity and depth at the heart of their defence.
The club’s position in the league table has made reinforcements a priority, with the second half of the campaign set to play a decisive role in their bid to remain in Ligue 1.
Should the transfer be completed, Boma would take a significant step in his career by experiencing top-flight football in France for the first time.
Born in Poitiers, the defender would also be returning to familiar surroundings after developing his career abroad, while taking on the challenge of helping Paris FC stabilise their season.
With negotiations ongoing and the winter window entering a crucial phase, the coming days are expected to be decisive in determining whether Kevin Boma makes the switch from Portugal to the French capital.
