Mamelodi Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso has opened out about his future at the club as rumours of Pitso Mosimane returning continue to gain momentum.
Cardoso, a Portuguese tactician has come under heavy speculation, with the South African giants reportedly lining up Pitso Mosimane.
Cardoso has endured a love-hate relationship with Sundowns, heightening the rumours of a possible departure from the club.
Speaking after his outfit game against Orbit College, Cardoso poured cold water on his future, stressing his future does not depend of football.
“Regarding my future. Don’t worry about my future because my future doesn’t depend on football,” he said after his side won 2-0 against Orbit College last night.
“It’s just my professional life that depends on football. It’s completely different. My future depends on many other things. I am a coach of a big team. I will be criticized every time. The question here is how much importance I will give to it.
“Believe me, I will not give it too much importance. I love being here, and I will be until the day the club decides [otherwise]. The day I will go I will be for sure a normal man, ready for something different. Until then I will be committed and motivated. I am already too old to worry about things that are just noise.”
