Mario Balotelli has found a new destination at 35, reaching an agreement to join Saudi club Al Ittifaq as he looks to extend a colourful and eventful career.

Italian journalist Gianluigi Longari reports that the former Italy striker is preparing to open a fresh chapter in the Saudi Pro League.

Balotelli’s last spell was at Genoa, after leaving Turkish side Adana Demirspor, where he previously featured in the Süper Lig. Despite his nomadic path across Europe, his list of achievements at the highest level remains impressive.

He won the UEFA Champions League with Inter in 2010 as part of José Mourinho’s legendary treble‑winning side. Balotelli also lifted the Premier League title with Manchester City in 2012 and claimed several Serie A crowns earlier in his career.

On the international stage, he played a key role in leading Italy to the Euro 2012 final, famously scoring twice against Germany in the semifinals.

The move to Al Ittifaq offers Balotelli another chance to showcase his talent, experience, and personality on a new stage, and to prolong a career that has rarely been dull wherever he has gone.
