German Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen are interested in signing Nigerian midfielder Anthony Dennis.

The 21-year-old, who currently plies his trade with Turkish outfit Göztepe, has emerged as one of the standout performers in the Süper Lig this season, drawing increasing attention from across Europe.

According to Turkish news agency IHA, Dennis is being closely monitored by a number of Bundesliga teams, including Union Berlin, RB Leipzig, Eintracht Frankfurt and Werder Bremen. The midfielder remains under contract with Göztepe until 2027.

Reports suggest the Turkish club would be open to sanctioning a move either in January or during the summer transfer window, with the player’s valuation believed to be around €8 million.

Renowned for his aggressive tackling and impressive work rate, Dennis had already been linked with a switch to Germany in the previous transfer window, when Hoffenheim, Augsburg and Mainz 05 were all credited with an interest in his services.

With many options on the table, the Nigerian is spoiled for choice as he considers his nex move.
