Premier League giants Liverpool are weighing up the possibility of dropping Egyptian international Mohammed Salah for their Champions League clash against Inter Milan after outburst.
Salah, who has struggled to replicate last season’s record-breaking performance publicly disclosed a break in relationship with manager Arne Slot after being benched for the third consecutive time.
The experienced winger watched from the bench, as the Reds played out a 3-3 draw against Leeds United at Elland Road on Saturday.
Currently, the club’s top brass and head coach Arne Slot are in an emergency meeting amid the club’s unimpressive performance.
Per reports, the Reds are weighing up the decision to leave Mohamed Salah out of the squad for the Champions League clash against Inter Milan on Tuesday following his outburst in the Leeds United showdown.
This season, the Egyptian forward has featured in nineteen matches across all competitions for Liverpool, netting five goals and providing three assists.
Meanwhile, Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal and Al Ittihad are reportedly prepared to offer a fee between €80–100, including bonuses to secure the signature of the Egyptian international.
