New storm hits Zamalek as Juan Bezzera and Chico Banza issue legal warnings
A new financial crisis is shaking Zamalek after foreign players Juan Bezzera and Chico Banza sent formal notices to the club’s management over unpaid wages, in a first step toward terminating their contracts unilaterally.
A club source told Kooora that Bezzera has already dispatched an official warning regarding his overdue payments, paving the way for legal action to break the deal.
The same source added that Angolan forward Chico Banza followed the same path, notifying Zamalek about his outstanding dues as a preliminary move toward ending his contract from his side if the situation does not change. At the same time, several other foreign players are studying similar action to clarify the fate of their delayed salaries.
According to the report, Seifeddine Jaziri, Oday Dabbagh and Adam Kaid are all considering sending formal warnings to the club to know when they will be paid. The mounting crisis comes after other foreign names, including Mahmoud Bentaik, Abdelhamid Maali and Salah El Din Mossadek, either started or completed procedures to terminate their contracts, underlining the depth of Zamalek’s financial troubles.
