Arsenal are being linked with a move for Eintracht Frankfurt winger Jean-Mattéo Bahoya as the Premier League club explore wide options ahead of the next window.

Speculation in Germany has suggested the 20-year-old is on the Gunners’ radar, with the probability of a transfer currently rated at 10% in market reports. Bahoya, valued at around €25m, is seen as one of the more expensive emerging attacking prospects in the Bundesliga, but there is no indication yet that formal talks have begun between the clubs.

The French-Cameroonian, who plays primarily as a left winger and favours his right foot, joined Eintracht Frankfurt from Angers SCO in January 2024 after coming through the French side’s youth and B teams. He has since continued to build his reputation in Germany’s top flight, where his performances have driven a rapid rise in estimated market value over the past three years.

Bahoya’s current deal situation at Frankfurt is not publicly detailed, leaving open the theoretical possibility that he could become a free agent in future if no extension is agreed, although there is no suggestion in the available data that such a scenario is imminent. For now, any move to Arsenal remains at the rumour stage.

Born in Montfermeil on 7 May 2005, Bahoya has represented both France and Cameroon at youth level eligibility and stands at 1.80m, giving him a blend of pace and physical presence out wide. His progression from Angers’ academy sides to the Bundesliga has been mirrored by steady increases in his market valuation, which rose from €100,000 in 2022 to €25m by October 2025.

Should Arsenal choose to firm up their interest, a transfer to north London would mark the next step in a swiftly developing career and could significantly shape Bahoya’s standing in European football if it were to materialise.
