Moroccan international Brahim Diaz is intensifying his efforts to secure a regular spot with Real Madrid following a slow start to the season.

Spanish outlet “AS” reports that Diaz began as a substitute, overshadowed by the emerging duo Franco Mastantono and Arda Güler on the right wing. Despite limited minutes, Diaz has been grinding relentlessly in training to convince his manager of his value and readiness to start.

Coach Xabi Alonso has not yet settled on a permanent solution for the right wing, keeping the competition open, especially since several Madrid forwards prefer attacking down the left. Diaz believes he still has a strong chance to break into the starting XI, banking on his steady work ethic and adaptability.

Diaz is aiming to capitalize on any opportunity in upcoming matches, particularly given Real Madrid’s recent inconsistencies in attack. He’s participated in 14 games across La Liga and the Champions League this campaign, a total of 423 minutes, and remains a fixture for Morocco’s national team ahead of the Cup of Nations.
