Tunisian striker Seifeddine Jaziri likely to lead Zamalek attack against Al Ahly
Zamalek’s Tunisian striker Seifeddine Jaziri is set to start in the highly anticipated Egyptian Super Cup final against Al Ahly in the UAE.
Team sources told Kooora that head coach Ahmed Abdel Raouf has held private meetings with Jaziri, providing technical guidance before the match. Jaziri’s experience in big fixtures and his sharpness in the penalty area have made him the frontrunner to lead Zamalek’s attack in this crucial game.
Meanwhile, there is uncertainty regarding Oday Dabbagh’s participation. Although Dabbagh has returned to group training and is medically cleared, the coaching staff is still undecided on whether he will be included in the final squad or used as a substitute off the bench.
Abdel Nasser Mohamed, Zamalek’s football manager, has urged midfielder Nasser Maher to put aside missing out on Egypt’s national team and focus on the Super Cup. The club has not decided if Maher will face a fine over his recent social media comments.
As kickoff approaches, both Zamalek and Al Ahly’s coaching teams have called for full concentration from their players, aiming to secure the trophy and a decisive victory in one of Egyptian football’s greatest rivalries.
