Yassine Labhiri, a key player for RS Berkane, is making encouraging progress in his rehabilitation after undergoing knee surgery last July.

The talented midfielder, who suffered an ACL injury in Paris, has started light jogging under the supervision of club doctor Dr. Talal El Fadli, marking a significant step forward in his recovery.

A club official shared, “Labhiri is responding very well and has now entered the muscle-strengthening phase. We expect him to rejoin full team training soon.” However, he is not expected to play for about two and a half more months, meaning his return will likely come after the end of the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

Fans and teammates have missed his creative presence on the pitch. Despite his absence, Labhiri travelled with Berkane to Cairo for the CAF Super Cup to cheer on his team and provide moral support. The club and supporters eagerly await his comeback, knowing his return will be a big boost for their ambitions in the league and beyond
