Petrojet open to selling Hamed Hamdan to Al Ahly under two conditions

Petrojet’s football supervisor, Mohamed Ayman, praised his team’s recent 1-1 draw with Al Ahly, calling it a turning point for the club’s season after inconsistent results.

Speaking on Thursday, Ayman commented, “Drawing with Ahly marks the real start for us this year, we could have even won if not for missed chances.” He added that talks with Zamalek are in place for Hamed Hamdan’s transfer in the winter window and that financial constraints might affect the deal’s structure.

Despite rumors, Ayman clarified, “There’s no concrete offer from Zamalek yet, only a preliminary agreement.” He noted that Hamdan’s wishes remain crucial: “He’ll leave in January if the financial offer is right, and we have no problem with a move to Ahly if two conditions are met, Hamdan must choose Ahly, and Zamalek must not meet Petrojet’s terms.”

Ayman emphasized, “We treat all clubs equally. If Hamdan prefers Ahly, Pyramids, or anyone else, we will respect that.” Hamdan previously sat out training, hoping for a Zamalek move, but has since returned. Meanwhile, Ahly’s focus shifts to the Egyptian Super Cup as they prepare to travel to the UAE next week.
