Portuguese forward Nuno Santos happy to score maiden Mamelodi Sundowns goal
Portuguese international, Nuno Santos, has expressed delight and joy at scoring his maiden goal for Mamelodi Sundowns in their CAF Champions League clash against Remo Stars.
Santos, who joined the South African outfit in the summer netted the first goal as his outfit cruised to a 2-0 home win over the Nigeria champions at Loftus Versveld with Peter Shalulile scoring the other.
The 26-year-old joined Sundowns as a direct replacement for Brazilian born Lucas Ribeiro, who departed the club during the summer window.
Since joining the club, Santos has racked up one goal and provided an assist in five appearances for the Brazilians.
However, the attacker has taken to social media to express his joy after netting his first goal for the club.
“Very happy to score my first goal for this club. Qualified for the Champions League group stage in front of our fans. Only good feelings. We keep moving,” Santos wrote on his Instagram Account.
Santos will be hoping to achieve more numbers in terms of goal scoring this season at Mamelodi Sundowns.
