African stars Achraf Hakimi and Mohamed Salah have been named in the final shortlist for the 2025 FIFPRO Men’s World 11.

Hakimi, who has been a standout performer for Paris Saint-Germain in the French Ligue 1, is widely expected to secure a place in the final team due to his exceptional consistency and impact over the past year.

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah is also a strong contender after playing a key role in helping the Reds clinch the English Premier League title last season, further cementing his status as one of the world’s elite attackers.

Also included in the shortlist is French defender of Cameroonian descent, William Saliba. He is the only Arsenal player to make the final shortlist, standing out from the Gunners’ talented squad with his impressive performances.

2025 FIFPRO 11 final shortlist

More than 26,000 professional players from 68 countries voted to determine the nominees. The shortlisted finalists are those who received the highest number of votes between July 15, 2024, and August 3, 2025, and who featured in at least 30 official matches during that period.

The final FIFPRO Men’s World 11 will be revealed on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 14:00 CET on FIFPRO’s digital platforms.
