AC Milan set to move for Joshua Zirkzee after struggles at Manchester United

Como have emerged as one of the Serie A clubs showing strong interest in Dutch-Nigerian striker Joshua Zirkzee.

Among the Serie A clubs showing interest in the forward are AS Roma and SSC Napoli.

Zirkzee, 24, is reportedly set to request a January exit from Old Trafford due to a lack of playing time. The forward has struggled to make an impact under Ruben Amorim, featuring in only three Premier League games this season.

His situation marks a disappointing spell since joining from Bologna, where he had previously impressed with his performances and potential.

With Zirkzee not featuring in Amorim’s long-term plans, a winter move appears increasingly likely as he looks to reignite his career with consistent minutes on the pitch.

Roma are actively searching for reinforcements in attack, with current forwards Artem Dovbyk and Evan Ferguson struggling to deliver.

Napoli are also in the market for a striker and are prepared to offer Zirkzee a fresh start, mirroring their previous successful acquisitions of Scott McTominay and Rasmus Hojlund.

Meanwhile, Como, who have made headlines with ambitious signings following their recent resurgence, are keen to bolster their squad further.

Any of the interested clubs could submit a formal offer in January 2026.
