Ghanaian youngster Prince Adu Kwabena was on the scoresheet for Viktoria Plzen on Thursday night, helping his side secure an impressive 2-1 win over AS Roma in the UEFA Europa League.

The former Bechem United forward started the match and led the line for the Czech side, putting on a commanding performance against the Italian giants. He opened the scoring in the 20th minute with a clever finish to give Viktoria Plzen a deserved lead.

Just two minutes later, Cheick Souaré added a second goal for the visitors, putting them firmly in control heading into halftime.

Viktoria Plzen maintained their discipline in the second half to protect their advantage. Roma’s only response came in the 54th minute when Paulo Dybala converted a penalty to reduce the deficit, but it was not enough to deny the Czech side all three points.

Prince Adu Kwabena played 81 minutes before being replaced by Nigerian forward James Bello, having made a significant contribution to his team’s victory.
