Nigerian international Kayode Bankole has completed a move to South African Premier League outfit, TS Galaxy, marking a significant step in his career.

The 23-year-old joins TS Galaxy as a free agent following his departure from Nigeria Premier Football League outfit, Remo Stars.

Bankole leaves the reigning Nigeria Premier Football League champions following the expiration of his contract. He is now set for a new challenge in the South African top-flight after securing a move to TS Galaxy, becoming the second Nigerian footballer to join the Premiership after Chippa United’ Stanley Nwabali.

He is expected to play a huge role for TS Galaxy in the ongoing campaign as they seek to make a meaningful impact.

Nwabali is the Super Eagles’ first choice goalkeeper and perhaps, Bankole’s move to South Africa is motivated by the heroics his compatriots does when on international duty.

As the first-choice for the Super Eagles, Nwabali is also the preferred choice at Port Elizabeth-based PSL side, Chippa United.

It remains to be seen though how and when will Bankole debut for TS Galaxy because the Mpumalanga side has reached its PSL quota of five foreigners.

Tape Ira, Igor Salatiel Silva, Paulo Martins Filho, Mory Keita and Mehdi Ouamri have all been registered and are part of their playing personnel for this campaign.
