Club Africain seal confident win over Vague Sportive Menzel Abderrahmene in Friendly Clash

Club Africain continued their preparations with a convincing 3-1 victory over Vague Sportive Menzel Abderrahmene in a friendly encounter at Parc A.

The Tunis-based side produced a solid performance, combining patience and precision to secure their first win of the international break after two previous draws.

Goals from Mohamed Sadok Mahmoud, Moataz Zemzemi, and Hamza Khadhraoui ensured the result went their way, while Aymen Ben Fraj struck the lone goal for the visitors.

After a goalless first half, Club Africain broke the deadlock early in the second period.

Mohamed Sadok Mahmoud found the net in the 52nd minute, giving the home side a deserved lead following sustained pressure.

Vague Sportive Menzel Abderrahmene responded with determination and were rewarded soon after when Aymen Ben Fraj levelled the score, briefly raising hopes of a comeback.

However, Club Africain’s experience and attacking quality eventually told.

Moataz Zemzemi restored the advantage in the 81st minute with a precise finish that left the opposing goalkeeper with no chance.

As the visitors pushed for an equaliser late on, Club Africain punished them on the counter, with Hamza Khadhraoui adding a third in stoppage time (90+3) to seal a well-earned victory.

The result caps off a productive run of friendly matches for Club Africain during the break.

Before this win, they were held to a 1-1 draw by JS Omrane and a goalless stalemate against ES Beni Khalled.

The latest performance, however, offered signs of progress and rhythm as the squad continues its preparations for the resumption of competitive fixtures.

The friendly matches have allowed the coaching staff to assess player fitness and test new tactical combinations.

Mahmoud, Zemzemi, and Khadhraoui’s contributions highlighted the team’s attacking depth, while the defensive unit showed improved cohesion after two cautious outings.

Though only a friendly, the victory provided a morale boost for Club Africain as they look to maintain momentum heading into upcoming league commitments.

The players will return to training in the coming days, with the focus shifting back to competitive action.
