Barcelona keen on signing Cameroonian forward Karl Etta Eyong
Spanish giants Barcelona are keen on securing the services of Cameroonian international Karl Etta Eyong as they seeks to bolster their squad.
The 22-year-old attacker, who is in the books of fellow Spanish outfit Levante has emerged as a top transfer target for several top European clubs, having showcased glimpses of good performance.
Barcelona made an attempt to sign the forward during his stint with Villarreal, but financial constraints prevented the deal from going through.
Currently, the forward has a release clause set at €30 million, with Barcelona said to be monitoring his performances and could reignite negotiations in the upcoming transfer windows.
The Catalans are in search of a replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who is nearing the end of his career.
The Cameroonian striker has been in a sensational form this season for Levante, scoring four goals and providing an assist in five matches.
