Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso hails Franco-Cameroonian star Kylian Mbappe’s goalscoring prowess

Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso has eulogized France international of Cameroonian descent Kylian Mbappe following his outstanding performance in the Champions League clash against Kairat Almaty.

The former Paris Saint Germain star produced a good performance as the Spanish giants made light work of the Kazakhstani outfit on Tuesday evening.

Mbappe bagged a hat-trick, contributing to Real Madrid’s 5-0 away win over Kairat Almaty in round two of the Champions League.

However, Xabi Alonso, has praised Mbappe’s goalscoring prowess, while urging him to maintain momentum in order to achieve a successful season.

“He’s a decisive player in almost every game. He has a great sense of scoring. Even in the derby, he scored a stunning goal. We need him to always show that quality, not just with goals, but with his overall impact on the team. If he continues like this, he can have an exceptional season.”

The France international has racked up 13 goals and provided two assists across competitions for the Spanish giants.
