Egyptian giants Al Ahly to miss FIVE key players ahead of Ismailia showdown

Egyptian giants Al Ahly are sweating over the injuries of several key players ahead of the Premier League match against Ismailia Electricity.

In a high-stake clash on Saturday, Al Ahly will lock horns with Ismailia in matchday 9 of the Egyptian Premier League.

AL Ahly look set to miss the services of influential players including winger Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, Karim Fouad, and Mohamed Shukry.

Additionally, the record Champions League holders will be without Moroccan Ashraf Dari due to injury, and Imam Ashour, who has not recovered from a virus.

Al Ahly currently sit third place with 15 points, two points behind leaders Zamalek, who is one game ahead of their rivals.

The Red Devils defeated Zamalek 2-1 in the match held at the Cairo Stadium, in the ninth round of the Egyptian Premier League.

Al-Ahly dominated most of the match, especially in the second half, scoring two goals and wasting several clear chances that could have doubled the score.

Zamalek took the lead in the first half from a penalty kick taken by Hossam Abdel-Maguid, before Hussein El-Shahat equalized with a shot from inside the penalty area, and Trezeguet added the second goal from a penalty kick.
