Mamelodi Sundowns confirm signing of Portuguese midfielder Miguel Reisinho

South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed the signing of Portuguese midfielder Miguel Reisinho.

The 26-year-old left-footed central midfielder joins the Brazilian as a free agent following his departure from Portuguese outfit Boavista in July 2025.

Reisinho penned a permanent deal to join the South African giants and is expected to play a hue role for the club this season.

Despite the closure of the South African transfer window, the midfielder has joined Sundowns as a free agent.

Reisinho becomes the second Portuguese player to join Mamelodi Sundowns, having previously capture the signature of attacking midfielder Nuno Santos on transfer deadline day.

The 26-year-old midfielder has had stints with several clubs in Portugal including, Penafiel, Vitoria SC and others.

With his wealth of experience, he is expected to play a huge role for the South African giants in the 2025/26 campaign.
